The state reported 210 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, with 88 of the new cases linked to a known case or cluster, according to NSW Health.
On Thursday, the government announced three hundred ADF personnel will be deployed after NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller made a request to the federal government, according to a statement by NSW Police.
All of Greater Sydney, including Wollongong, Central Coast and the Blue Mountains, entered a lockdown on June 26, which has been extended for four more weeks until at least August 28.
